Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner and They're Real Mascara, Now Available in More Shades - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy? Please tell me that I'm non hallucinating and that these colorful new gel liners and mascaras by Benefit are not mere makeup figments of my imagination.
Are they fake…? Did I dream up this whole blue/green/purple state of affairs? Please pinch me because I need to know if They're Existent.
OUCH!
OK…yous did not take to pinch me that hard. 🙂
Benefit has some new liners and mascaras, and they aren't figments of my imagination or yours, nor are you currently floating on pinkish cotton candy clouds.
These are very, very real, and they're available on counters and online right now.
The line recently added ii new $24 shades of They're Existent Mascara (Beyond Brown and Beyond Blue) and 4 new $24 shades of They're Real Button-Up Liner (Beyond Dark-brown, Beyond Blue, Beyond Regal and Across Green, $24) to their permanent collection.
So. Much. Color!
They're Existent Mascara in Beyond Dark-brown and Across Blue
The two new shades of mascara join Benefit'southward original They're Existent.
Not gonna lie, I'm all almost that bluish ane…
Y'all don't empathize! Trying to find a true bluish mascara — one that you don't have to practise a ton of trickery or layering with to actually see the blueish color — has been like trying to find a rainbow unicorn (i.e. hard).
This one is a beautiful bright blue, and information technology even looks vibrant with just one or two coats. Great curl hold and separation, as well (although I could get for more volume). Unless you just wear blackness mascara, chances are you will Beloved this.
As for the new brown shade, eh… I'm only not that into it. I take blackness lashes, and this brown, like most dark-brown mascaras, doesn't practise sh*t for me.
It is really brownish, though, if that's your affair.
They're Existent Push-Up Liners in Across Chocolate-brown, Beyond Bluish, Beyond Majestic and Beyond Green
These new gel liners are basically the same bargain as the original They're Real Button Up Liner released terminal year, only in different shades. Same click pens and rubber nib packaging. Yous merely twist the lesser of the pen, and the gel comes out of the flexible plastic nib. Then line your lash lines and par-tay.
Now, I don't know if I'yard just all thumbs, but I always have a tough time with this kind of packaging. It's so hard to draw smooth edges and sharp flicks with these pens, so what I usually do is put a bit of the product on the back of my paw, and and so I'll use either an angled or a pointed eyeliner castor to employ it from at that place to my lash lines.
Also, when I work with this liner, I motion FAST — similar 60 seconds or less, considering the formula dries quicker than you can text, "Let'southward get to the 5:30 showing of Magic Mike XXL tonight!"
In other words, you don't accept a lot of time to play, and so hustle dat booty when you piece of work with information technology, because when it sets, it doesn't movement. It's so tough and long lasting that it might equally well exist waterproof. I fifty-fifty have to use an oil-based makeup remover with information technology.
As for the new colors, I dear the green, because it's vivid and polish, and same goes for the purple. But the brown and blueish — which is more of a blackish navy — go on a little patchy.
